Garlic & Thyme Chicken Thighs

w/ savory Basmati Rice

Woooooah. This recipe is full of flavor.


One of the easiest dinner meals I've made yet. Throw all the ingredients in a cast iron skillet, turn the oven on, and let the chicken cook in the oven and -- voila! Done.


Ingredients:

  • 8 chicken legs

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 1 tbsp chicken bouillon paste (I use the one from Costco. Cheap, amazing quality, best flavor) -- you can use chicken bouillon cube if you have that on hand

  • 2 tablespoons thyme seasoning

  • 1/2 tbsp pepper

  • 1/2 tbsp salt

  • 3 cloves of garlic

  • 1 cup of water

  • 1/4 cup olive oil

  • 2 tbsp butter (I use Kerrigold)

  • 4 springs of Thyme Leaves

  • 1/4 cup of white wine


  • 1 1/2 cup basmati rice

  • 2 1/2 cups water

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 1 clove of garlic (chopped)
